Beautiful Barley is the classic contemporary cellist. As at home
with the solo Bach Suites as he is with jazz, he's as happy
jamming in Hoxton as collaborating with world music masters.
Trained at the Guildhall School in London and at the Moscow
Conservatoire, he made his concerto debut in London's Barbican
Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra.
He's also got his own experimental, cross-disciplinary group
Between the Notes, and released his first album back in 2003.
